The plan for 2002 was to cruise anticlockwise around Ireland, starting from Bangor and taking around 6 weeks to complete the circumnavigation.

However the Weather Gods had other plans …..

In addition, the skipper’s camera shutter jammed - so we are without many photos to enliven the text. Instead I have scanned in a few chartlets from the Imray charts, the ICC’s Sailing Directions, some OS Maps to help give a feel for some of the ports and headlands, etc and photos of lighthouses from "Irish Lighthouses" by Sharma Krauskopf. The crew were able to supply a few snaps from weeks 1 & 2, but as weather was very poor, few pictures were taken!
